Leadership

At the core of the local MOPS group is a Steering Team of committed leaders who set the tone for the rest of the group.  Here is an introduction to your Steering Team Leaders...

Kristin Anders- Coordinator
I have been married for 8 years and we have 2 sweet little girls. We moved here about a year and a half ago from Dallas, Texas.  I was apart of a MOPS group in Dallas and loved it! Before we even moved I started looking for a MOPS group here.  Without a doubt, MOPS is the highlight of my week.  I get recharged by having an uninterrupted conversation with another adult, sipping a HOT cup of coffee or giggling with other moms about our toddler antics.  It's a joy and an honor to be the leader. I hope you will be refreshed and recharged when you leave on Thursday mornings. I am looking forward to seeing all the new and familiar faces that will be joining this year.

Leigh Arevalo-Coordinator Mentor
I have been married to the love of my life for thirteen years.  As we draw closer to God, we draw closer to each other.  I have two wonderful boys who blessed us fifteen months apart.  We are entering the world of homeschool and enjoy learning together.  I truly love MOPS and all it stand for and am grateful to CCC for supporting this valuable ministry.

Anne Westfall-Mentor Mom
Anne Westfall was born in West Virginia. She went to college there where she met and later married Steven.  They moved to Ohio when their oldest daughter, Stephanie was 3 years old.   Steven left teaching at that time and began working  for the Standard Oil Company.  Their other two living daughters Jennifer and Kristy  were born in Ohio.    Anne taught school in Ohio as a reading intervention specialist for 30 years.  Last year in June, 2006,  Anne and Steve moved to WA to live near their daughters  and six wonderful grandchildren.  Anne and Steve visited Cascade Covenant Church with their daughter, Jennifer, and decided to make it their church, too.  Anne considers herself blessed to have been introduced to Jesus Christ and His church at a very early age,  and to know Him as she walks through the trials of life.  She wants to continue serving Him in her retirement.
