MOPPETS
Our MOPPETS program, headed by Christine Carter, provides loving care for children six months through kindergarten, (under six months can stay with mom). While mothers attend the MOPS meeting, children enjoy a program designed to meet their needs.
The children are divided into age groups and are involved in planned activities that provide social growth and spiritual enrichment. Games, stories, crafts, and play enhance their physical and creative development.
Benefits for Children
- Social growth through group activities and play.
- Spiritual growth through Bible stories and values relevant to their lives.
- Physical, emotional, and creative development through crafts, games, snacks, and
songs.
Please help us provide a wonderful experience for your children by adhering to the following guidelines:
- Well Child Nursery/Classrooms. If your baby or child has a cold or other illness, he/she
will be more comfortable at home, and that would help us avoid passing the illness on to
other children in the nursery or classroom.
- Bring a change of clothes for your children (including socks) and at least three diapers if
your child is not potty trained.
- Label all items (including bottles and cups) with child's name.
